Blogging is serious stuff, people

I don't think the awfulblogs.com, woot.com PR is all that bad; it's not like I'm pissed at these blogs or anything. woot found us through awfulblogs, and I'm just wondering how awfulblogs found us in the first place. Then again, according to the latest mapstats, a Google search for 'banking' points to us right now, so who knows, the internet tubes are weird like that. Actually it's kind of neat to see us linked at all. Who knows who's casually scanned our blog and rolled their eyes in boredom?

But yeah, it is kind of weird that an internet store is picking on us. Christ almighty, we're getting mocked by the sales help. Can I put a 'micropayment' in their virtual tip jar?

Whatever. Blogging is lame, people. Just a short step from the hobo who wanders around the Berkeley subway station with a stack of poems in his hand, asking you: "Hi, do you like poetry? Would you like a poem?" No thanks, I honestly don't care what tender thoughts you have today.
