A villian like Matt Dillon.

So I'm chillin like Dylan and thinking about villians and it occurred to me that it's not really the villian that's the problem, but the villian that can do whatever they like whenever they want that bums me out.

Basically, it's this simple: Vrill has achieved more than Brogg could even given twice the time he has had. -I believe any objection to that would not be in good faith.

Still, don't get me wrong, Vrill has been a great antagonist, and generally a good time. However, the guy should just be dead. He's pulled off way too much.

Personally, I think the DM at times can develop a certain affinity for NPCs just as players can for PCs. However, given that DMs have ABSOLUTE POWER (Yoda voice! E.T.!?) the consequences can be far more detrimental.

Both player's and DMs will attempt cheesy tactics to save their favorite characters. However, only DMs have the power of unfettered cheese.

In short, I think Vrill has ridden the cheese train a few stops too many.

-That's my 2 cents.
