Final Boss Fight

I tend to think that if we weren't fighting Vrill fused with some cheesy end boss, we'd just be fighting the cheesy end boss. I kind of the like the familiarity factor- Vrill is someone we all know and hate, whether we've been playing from the start or otherwise. I mean, if there was some other antagonist we could fall back on, that might be cool for a final fight... the GMoF (Mysterious X) is the only thing I can think of in this campaign that fits that bill, and he's been out of the picture for some time.

I don't mind that Vrill is the final boss, but I can understand a feeling of deja vu, since you all killed him that one time a while ago and it seemed pretty climactic then.

In other news, I forgot to post and am facing a life-ending fireball whether I save or not. My bad. If we're retconning the fight resumption, I'm gonna tyr to monkey with the puzzle a little. Otherwise, I'm going out Norse stye- on fire and screaming. Maybe I should have worshipped Odin?
