King Tut = The Phoenix

I'm happy playing Tut, but I'll start a new guy if necessary. I don't see why we can't just start people with new characters and the equivalent amount of experience.

I thought the campaign was good, and some stuff was really clever. The concept of Hello Airport for example. I think any new campaign will have the same problems--all our old campaigns were scrapped after awhile too, then we started again and scrapped again.

I think Rob should choose. He's putting way more effort than any of us. We can just not post for a week or two if we feel like it, and no harm done, but Rob has a lot more demand for his time (and consistently).

The rail-roaded plot lines, etc. are fine with me. It's like the old Ultima games...you could attack the King but that didn't mean you could kill him.

The only thing is, if we could reduce the puzzles and the sudden walls of text. I just don't have the time to read pages and pages of text. That's the only problem with puzzles--with combat, I can skim posts quick to see who's low on hp, with puzzles, I have to read it all to find out what's up with the puzzle and what's been guessed. If we do more puzzles, can we get "summary so far" posts made occassionally, so we can just log in, read the summary, and try to post?

I would like to make a suggstion for any new campaign: we remove the spell level cap that is based on a caster's primary stat. No one is going to have 18's, or probably even 16's, here. Fighters don't lose the ability to specialize, or have damage caps instituted, for having low str--Tut had like 10 and he was fine. I'd like to see the same thing for casters. Otherwise, I think we'll end up with a party full of fighters.
