check out the classes here. Barbarians can't wield magic cant' hang out with mages and well if you don't have an 18 dex their Ac sucks. Sure they have d12 hps but, nlah nlah. Check out class options here

Berzerker looks good. I think it would be funny/cool if King Tut was a class from 1ST edition oriental adventures.
