Marivhon

It was Yvette.

"I'll have you know that my rhymes are mostly flawless in terms of execution. If I say so myself"

Rob it is you who says so, you yourself. It is only you who says so. Your defense of your raps is like all the defenses of any artform that have come before them, indicitive of an unfulfilled vision. So while we have all made mistakes in our posts, you are the only one claiming perfection. That in itself illustrates one of the greatest flaws present in art of any kind. That flaw being the creation of art which is not, in a sense, socially aceptable or in line with the established cannon.

Art created with no respect for the audience is perhaps one of the greatest examples of narcissism. So I will say that I have shown the raps to many people. Perhaps it is the ignorance of the masses that compels them to like our raps on the whole more than yours. If that is true then the raps we have made will shake more booties than yours because we will sell more records. If you are trying to have books written about how your raps were misunderstood, brillant, and tragically irrelevant because you were before your time then you are doing well.

Art is any medium through which meaning is conveyed. The extent to which art is successfull is the degree to which the need for a commentator or an educator is removed. This is why modern art will mostly be forgotten. It is institutional commentary in the wrong medium.

that is all for now.
